The proposal would also limit remote therapeutic monitoring to established patients and require a separate initiating visit.

It matters here because the outsourced-monitoring model it targets is close to how several telehealth weight-management programmes deliver follow-up. A rule that requires a practice's own employed staff to furnish the service would reach the arrangement, not just the billing code.
